TALON MC Cargo Hook Overhaul Exchange Pool Service with Manual Release Lever Upgrade
If you are unable to be without your cargo hook for the duration of an overhaul, Onboard maintains an overhaul Exchange Pool for select cargo hook equipment. Give us a call to confirm availability, then request an RMA and send us your hook. When we receive it, we will send you a replacement hook from our Exchange Pool.
The hooks in our Exchange Pool have been meticulously restored to like-new condition by our factory technicians. The exchange pool hook is now yours to keep and use; you will not receive your original hook back. Instead, your core hook will be overhauled and added back into the Exchange Pool.
If the TALON MC cargo hook you are returning doesn't include a manual release lever, you can also choose to request an upgraded hook from our Exchange Pool by adding the cost of the upgrade kit to your overhaul.
The addition of a lever in an accessible location below the bumper ring will make it easier for your ground crew to open the hook during loading and unloading operations. In addition, we redesigned the hook lock indicator to make it easier for the ground crew to quickly verify that the hook is securely locked after loading.
